A complimentary consultation must be done before any laser treatment is booked or performed.
- Arrive to your appointment with clean skin on the area to be treated. Do not apply makeup, creams, oils, deodorant to the area to be treated.
- The area to be treated must be clean-shaven 24-hours before your appointment. Unshaven clients will need to be rescheduled.
- Avoid UV exposure 7 days prior to your treatment. Clients who are sunburned must wait 2 weeks before being treated to avoid additional skin damage.
- Avoid sunless tanning products 7 days prior to your treatment. It is recommended that you exfoliate the area to remove any residual colour.
- Refrain from waxing, tweezing, threading, sugaring or chemical epilation for hair removal 6 weeks prior to treatment.
- Avoid aspirin, anti-inflammatory drugs and herbal supplements due to increased risk of bleeding.
- Redness and swelling of the hair follicle is normal occurrence.
- Pain and discomfort, if any can be easily treated with over-the-counter pain medicines.
- For at least one month following treatment, you should apply high-factor sun protection (SPF 30>), and protect the treated area from exposure to direct sunlight for at least one month post-treatment.
- Tanning after laser treatments may enhance melanin regeneration that can result in hyper-pigmentation.
