Votiva™ will work well for those who have undergone menopause or experiencing symptoms similar to postmenopausal women, given birth or experiencing vaginal dryness.

Ideal candidates for Votiva include women who exhibit the following:

Vulvar and vaginal laxity

Weakened pelvic floor

Enlarged or elongated labia

Vaginal dryness

Decreased sexual function

Votiva™ uses a laser energy that emits the heat and it does not cause pain. You may feel a mild heating sensation during the treatment. Some patients have mentioned mild discomfort as the device is inserted for the first time, this is usually due to vaginal dryness.

Patients can expect to feel a heating sensation during treatment. Results can be felt and seen immediately, with continued results over the following weeks or multiple treatments.

Depending on the intensity of the treatment, there is little to no downtime. Most patients may have slight discomfort during and immediately after treatment. Some patients will experience no discomfort at all.

Your technician will determine the best treatment plan for you. The majority of patients have 2-3 sessions, however, most notice a difference after only 1 treatment. The number of sessions depends on your treatment concerns, your personal goals, and if you plan to use a combination treatment or a single treatment approach.
