Nano Laser Peel
Book NowNanoLaserPeel® precisely vaporizes the very top layers of the epidermis to instantly smooth texture, brighten tone, and refresh radiance. Because depth is computer-controlled, providers can tailor the peel to your skin and schedule—often delivering a polished, makeup-ready surface in just a few days.

Inform Platinum Medical Spa if you have a history of cold sores. Antiviral prophylaxis is recommended (e.g., Valacyclovir (Valtrex) 500 mg twice daily, starting 1 day before treatment and continuing for 5 days after treatment, total 7 days).
Discontinue all products containing active ingredients at least 7 days prior, including Retinol (Retin-A, Tretinoin, Vitamin A), glycolic acid, salicylic acid, AHAs, LHAs, hydroquinone, and benzoyl peroxide.
Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanning products for at least 14 days prior. Treating tanned skin increases the risk of blistering, scarring, hyperpigmentation, and hypopigmentation.
Avoid Aspirin, Motrin, Ibuprofen, fish oils, Vitamin E, and other blood thinners for 5–7 days prior unless prescribed. Contact Platinum Medical Spa if you are on prescribed anticoagulants.
Avoid waxing or depilatory creams on the treatment area for at least 14 days prior. Do not treat irritated or compromised skin.
Arrive with a clean face (no makeup or skincare). Bring a hat for sun protection after treatment. Follow all instructions provided by Platinum Medical Spa.
A thin, damaged layer is lifted away so fresh, light-reflective skin shows through in days.
Laser-controlled depth means even treatment across the face—no hot spots or missed patches.
Typical social downtime is 1–3 days of pinkness and light flaking.
Smoother texture helps foundation glide and actives absorb more evenly.
Skin is cleansed; protective eyewear and optional topical numbing are applied. You’ll feel brief warm flashes as the laser makes fast passes. Face takes ~15–20 minutes. Expect a sunburn-like warmth for a few hours and pinkness for 1–3 days.
Erythema (redness), edema (swelling), warmth, and a sunburn-like sensation are expected immediately after treatment and may last from 2–8 hours up to 24 hours–5 days depending on depth. Pinpoint bleeding may occur and resolve within 1–2 hours. Swelling may occur and can be reduced with cold compresses and sleeping elevated the first night. Discomfort may be managed with Acetaminophen (Tylenol) or medications such as Ibuprofen, Advil, Aleve, or Motrin if advised. Continue antiviral therapy (Valacyclovir/Valtrex or Famvir) if prescribed.
A thick layer of Aquaphor or Vaseline will be applied immediately post-treatment and must be maintained continuously. The skin must never be allowed to dry out. A Bio Cellulose mask may be used for short-term cooling once Aquaphor has absorbed, followed by reapplication of Aquaphor.
Cleanse twice daily starting the next morning using lukewarm water and a gentle cleanser (e.g., Cetaphil or CeraVe), applying with hands only and patting dry. Begin Surfatrol soaks (1 packet daily for 7–10 days mixed in 12 oz water), applied every 2–3 hours while awake with gauze for 2 minutes. Apply CE Ferulic Serum (SkinCeuticals) once daily in the morning (4–6 drops); stinging is expected and normal.
Apply a thin layer of Pomatrol for 1–4 days as directed depending on treatment depth. Once Pomatrol is absorbed, apply Aquaphor between Surfatrol applications to maintain moisture. Aquaphor is required approximately 1 day per 10 microns of treatment depth (e.g., 20 microns = 2 days), or until re-epithelialization. Reapply as needed and do not allow the skin to dry out. After discontinuing Aquaphor and Pomatrol, apply Revitatrol generously for 2–3 weeks after each Surfatrol application.
Peeling and flaking begin within 24–72 hours and last 7–10 days. DO NOT pick, rub, or remove peeling skin as this may cause scarring or infection. Skin may feel tight, itchy, or swollen (especially around the eyes for 3–5 days). Avoid heat, sweating, exercise, saunas, and hot tubs until healed. Avoid active skincare (Retin-A, retinol, tretinoin, glycolic acid, salicylic acid) for at least 1 week or until advised. Keep hair away from the face and avoid irritation. Wash hair away from the face when showering.
Strict sun avoidance is required for 2 months post-treatment and at least 4 weeks before and after treatment. Use mineral SPF 30+ (zinc oxide or titanium dioxide only) once healed. Apply 20 minutes before exposure and reapply every 2 hours. Wear protective clothing and a hat. Failure to follow sun precautions may result in blistering, scarring, hyperpigmentation, or hypopigmentation. Collagen remodeling continues for 2–3 months. Contact Platinum Medical Spa immediately if you notice drainage (pus), increased warmth, fever ≥ 101.5°F, severe swelling, or unusual pain.
