Please inform your provider of all current and past medical conditions, medications, supplements, and recent procedures. This includes blood thinners, hormonal therapies, antibiotics, and any condition affecting healing. Treatment is not recommended if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have active infections, or certain autoimmune or bleeding disorders. A full consultation is required to determine eligibility and ensure safe treatment. Clients with a history of severe allergies, anaphylaxis, or hypersensitivity should inform their provider, as this may affect treatment suitability. Clients prone to keloid or hypertrophic scarring should disclose this prior to treatment, as safety in these cases may be limited.
Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements for at least 5–7 days prior to treatment unless medically necessary and approved by your physician. This includes aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, vitamin E, fish oil, omega-3 supplements, ginkgo biloba, and alcohol, as they may increase the risk of bruising and swelling.
Ensure the treatment area is free from irritation, infection, rashes, or active breakouts. Treatment should be postponed if you have cold sores or skin inflammation. Clients with a history of herpes simplex may require antiviral medication prior to treatment.
Avoid dental procedures, including cleanings or surgery, for at least 2 weeks before and after treatment. Inform your provider if you have had recent fillers, threads, laser treatments, or skin procedures within the past 2–4 weeks. Avoid scheduling treatment within 2 weeks of vaccinations or if you are feeling unwell. Please inform your provider of any implanted materials or previous fillers in the treatment area, as interactions may not be fully predictable.
Maintain good hydration and a healthy lifestyle prior to treatment. Avoid alcohol, smoking, and excessive caffeine 24 hours before your appointment, as these may impact healing and increase the risk of bruising or swelling.
Arrive with clean skin free of makeup, creams, or lotions. Avoid strenuous activity prior to your appointment. You may be photographed for medical documentation and progress tracking. Treatment is typically quick and well tolerated, with minimal discomfort.

Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and excessive heat such as saunas, hot tubs, and steam rooms for 24–48 hours after treatment. Avoid applying pressure to the treated area, including massaging or sleeping directly on it, unless instructed by your provider.
Mild swelling, redness, tenderness, and bruising are common and typically resolve within a few days. Some firmness, unevenness, or small nodules may be felt temporarily as the product settles and integrates into the tissue. The product may shift slightly from the original injection site. Mild asymmetry or unevenness may occur and can be reassessed if persistent.

Immediate medical attention is required.
